Ira is renowned for having his fingertips on the pulse of the marketplace. A long-time Floridian, Ira began his career in the steel industry at PECSO, in 1979, working his way up to President in 1991. In 2000, he formed a new partnership for steel distribution at CRP. Under his leadership, the company has realized a ten-fold increase in business.

CRP's specialist in charge of finance, administration and operations, Eric is known for his high-energy style. Eric joined CRP in 2000 as Corporate Controller and became CFO in 2004.

Over the years, Joe has established strong relationships with all the major customers in the industry. Joe began his steel career with Universal Steel (now Infra Metals) in Florida, initially focusing on selling steel futures and later as sales manager for the entire state. In 1992, he partnered with Ira Vernon at PESCO and was soon promoted to VP of Sales. When the two moved to CRP in 2000, Joe signed on as Vice President of Sales for CRP.

As strong and reliable as our products, CRP is built on three generations of relationships dating back over fifty years. Our company is run by a trio of partners, Ira Vernon, Joe Kirner and Eric Furman, along with Brian Gordon (who founded CRP in 1991 with his father, Allen Gordon). Ira, Joe and Brian gained their early experience working at Port Everglades Steel Corporation (PESCO), created by Brian and Ira's grandfather, Louis Zinn.
